Standard Size: Our wall batten strips are 84” x 2”, complying with the federal height minimum of 7’. Email us for a custom height up to 12’.

Standard Thickness: Options available include 0.8mm, 1.6mm, 2.4mm, and 3.2mm, along with custom lead thickness.

Use With: Lead-backed drywall and wood studs or 20-gauge metal studs.

Wall Batten Strips Considerations

Batten Strip Installation: Apply batten strips to vertical drywall joints before installing lead-backed drywall. For wood stud framing, apply the lead strip to the face of the stud. For metal stud framing, apply the lead strip to either the face or inside the stud cavity.
